Be patient. It works, just takes a bit of time. They are updating and changing some things on a "corporate" level, and it seems everything is a bit bogged down... I validated steps just last week.

It isn't working for me either. And someone I know even got their account suspended for no reason while trying to redeem a gift card

It's not working for me. I redeemed a gift card a few days ago but it says my account is locked.
