FWIW, we both have inflatable boards. They are about 11 feet long and are very stable and good for beginners.

Mia moglie ed io siamo andati a fare paddleboard lo scorso fine settimana. Era la nostra prima volta quest'estate.
Come sempre, è stata un'esperienza fantastica. Abbiamo trascorso un paio d'ore in acqua, semplicemente rilassandoci e ammirando il panorama.

If you decide to go with an inflatable board, may I suggest an electric pump? A good one can be preset to whatever pressure you need it to go to (mine is 15lbs) and can handle more than one board before it needs to cool down.
