i fiori stanno sbocciando

I fiori nel mio giardino stanno crescendo magnificamente! Li pianta mia nonna, quindi non conosco nessuna tecnica ๐Ÿ˜….

16.56 This is my first year trying my hand at gardening. I am Googling everything. And I have posted a few pictures and questions on here as a mingle post. There are gardeners on here. Of course, you should cross reference any information you get from a chat source. You just never know with people. But I've had some luck.

16.57 Here is my tomato plant! The white powdery stuff is DE Earth. I just trimmed it because it was massively bushy and my research said to top it and cut away the bottom growth so the nutrients could get where they needed to go. I currently have 1 teeny tiny tomato and around 8 blossoms. So hopefully I get more tomatosย  ๐Ÿคžย  I brought my tomato inside because there are bad storms headed my way tonight and my tomato is around 4.5 feet tall!

16.67 Ada, was the water comment for me? I recently repotted the tomato into a bigger container. The roots were growing out the bottom of my smaller pot and it was leaning dangerously! I had been bottom watering it (filling the pie pan my pot sat in and letting the tomato suck up the water it needed) and that worked great! With this huge pot, I used cans at the bottom for aeration and drainage so I don't think the bottom watering trick will work. I have been watering it every other day and once a week it gets water from banana peels and crushed egg shells. I hope I didn't kill it by repotting itย  ๐Ÿคž
