Could it be that the app thinks you're in a different timezone? It is supposed to reset at midnight, so perhaps it's hitting the wrong midnight.

Does the reset happen at different times of the day or the same time? It's supposed to happen at midnight. I agree with other users to check the time settings on your phone or app.
