I could never really get into the Olympics. I kinda like gymnastics but not enough to make me want to sit through the event.

Every Olympic games are exciting and amazing. I like to watch swimming including diving, archery, and badminton games. :)

The Olympics are huge, and I love to watch the athleticism. I just don't like how every city that hosts the Olympics "cleans up" their city for the event, but neglects their responsibilities otherwise. For example, Paris canceled their social housing project in favor of building the Olympic athletes village. The same thing happened in Vancouver when I lived there. The city rented busses and removed ALLL of the homeless people and sent them to different cities so that the world at large wouldn't have to see that. It's superficial and damaging in my opinion. An athletic competition shouldn't come before basic housing needs for the local population.
