When I do a Google lens search, squash bug comes up the most, but it wasn't on a squash plant.  It looks like there are a few insects that let gold colored eggs.

That sounds fascinating! Gold-colored insect eggs are quite rare and unique. It's possible that they belong to a species of insect that has a distinctive egg-laying process. Some insects, like certain species of butterflies or moths, can lay eggs with a golden or yellowish hue. If you're curious, try taking a closer look (without disturbing them) or researching online to see if you can identify the species. It's always exciting to discover new and interesting things in nature!
