I love dumbbells in gyms because there are different weights and you can choose the most effective ones. You can use lighter ones for biceps and use heavier ones for big muscles. And also, when you are bit tired after couple sets, you can use lighter weights to squeeze your muscles as last exercise. It allows you having flexibility. And usually there are lot of dumbbells of same weight so you do not have to wait others. Do not forget to sanitize after you use. It is general rule at gym.
