I have bad anxiety that I have struggled to get a handle on despite having professional help. I have been sick for a long time with no actual diagnosis. 3 months ago I learned I have a 7cm tumor in my uterus. I need to have surgery to get it removed. My blood pressure is high all the time at every appointment and they don't want ro do the surgery until I get it under control. I have a heart murmur thanks to taking Cymbalta and have had a lot of issues with pharmaceutical meds in general. My doctor prescribed me Pravocin for high blood pressure but it made me feel like garbage and I was exhausted on it so I stopped taking it. I am trying to eat better and move around as much as possible despite having unexplained neuropathy in my left leg but I worry a pharmaceutical medication might be my only option and personally, I don't know anyone that's been prescribed blood pressure meds that ever stops taking them and I would like to find ways to help it improve without pharmaceutical meds. Are pharmaceutical meds for lowering blood pressure safe and effective? Do the benefits from taking pharmaceutical meds for lowering blood pressure outweigh the risks? I know having high blood pressure that goes untreated is dangerous but I don't want to take something that lowers my blood pressure if it's going to cause other issues and I didn't have a good experience with trying the Pravocin so I would love to hear from anyone that knows a lot about pharmaceutical blood pressure meds. Thanks in advance for your advice and insights!
