Baby crescent bean!

Due to its unusual shape, the crescent bean has become endangered. I understand that once washed it is not as easy to chop off the ends of a pile at the same time (they must be dealt with individually). My son learned this at a local botanical garden a couple of years ago. At the same time the children were told to help themselves to the beans growing at the garden for a snack. My son tried one but also stuffed one in his pocket. I let it dry out and it had 3 within the pod for me to try planting. I'm so excited that they are growing! We've been teasing him about the "rare, stolen beans". 😂
