Today is national rum, airborne, roller coaster and tell a joke day. Airborne day celebrates the date of the first US Army parachute jump at Ft. Benning, GA which validated the concept of inserting ground troops behind battle lines by parachute.
My favorite joke when I was a kid was "Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate 9!"
