What I consider to be fast food.
Let me start this by mentioning that I avoid fast food establishments at all costs. I have food allergies so I would never put my life into a corporation's hands. That being said I can understand needing a quick meal on the go, so for the sake of this topic, my number one place for low-calorie foods would have to be... The grocery store!
This is what I am getting:
-Nuts, unsalted
-any type of berry
-apples
-salad bar
-pickled vegetables and olives
-Store-made hummus and or guacamole
-water
-baby carrots
-plane yogurt
-boiled eggs
-rotisserie chicken
All the foods listed can be obtained way faster than any meal at a fast food place. Also the nutritional information at grocery stores is clearly labeled so you know exactly what you are eating. Also, although there are many temptations at the grocery store I am a bit better at resisting them because I have way more practice. Its rare that I need a complete meal when Im out but if I do I will pack a healthy meal which is what i do when i have a long flight.
