I remember when I played the first Red Dead Redemption about ten years ago or more, and I loved it. Needless to say, when the sequel finally came out I was super excited.
Everything I loved about the first game was here, and yet the developers were able to capture something very special. The story, a prequel to the original game, hits you in the gut regardless of how you choose to play - hero or villain, RDR2 shows us we're only a couple moments away from either.
Without spoiling the story beats, RDR2 is a slower paced game than others, but that just allows you to breath the visuals and atmosphere in that much more. Arthur Morgan is one hell of a protagonist, and I relish every minute spent in his shoes.
