South Korea's women's archery has completed the 10 consecutive Olympic team events. Since the 1988 Seoul Games, when the team event was first introduced, the Korean women's archery, which won the event, has achieved a feat of 10 consecutive victories. This is the most tie for a particular event in a particular country that is currently in progress. Archery was even joking that "an event where athletes from all over the world gather to give gold medals to South Korea," and "the last team to meet South Korea takes a silver medal."
