This is a musical television series created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar which is currently being broadcast on Netflix since November 23, 2022. Tim Burton directs this deliciously dark American series with a fantasy style and deadpan humor. There is currently only one season of 8 episodes of approximately 45 to 60 minutes and the 2nd is currently in production. The character of Wednesday (the main character) is played by actress Jenna Ortega. This series tells the story of Wednesday Addams, member of the famous Addams family, she is the daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams. The series tells the adventures of Wednesday who is sent by her parents to a boarding school (the Nevermore Academy where her parents fell in love) because she was once again expelled from her high school, after having filled the swimming pool with piranha to revenge on the men's swimming club. In this new academy located in Jericho, Vermont, Wednesday must acclimatize to this new life and learn to mingle with the other students, all very special. She also has to face the director of the academy who is none other than her mother's former roommate when they also studied at the same institution. For several months, Wednesday has had overwhelming visions that she tries to control as best she can. She makes new friends as well as enemies. With the help of her uncle Fetid, the thing (the hand) and her new friends, Wednesday will try to solve the mystery behind the series of murders that terrify the inhabitants of the city of Jericho. I really enjoyed this series. She is amusing, a little morbid and satirical. I highly recommend it and look forward to season 2
