It's a show on Amazon Prime Video. It's a detective show, one of the ones where they show you the murder (and the perpetrator) right at the beginning and the "mystery" is how the detective is going to solve it.
I never watched Columbo, but from what I gather its very much like that.
Elsbeth, the detective, is very ADHD-coded; she's easily distracted but can get into a sortof hyperfocus state when she's onto something, she overshares, and other characters often say stuff to her like "You're smarter than you seem." So basically all the other characters (except Kaya, who's sort of her unofficial sidekick/protégé) underestimate her and she takes advantage of that.
It's really fun!

How was The Good Wife? I've sorta gotten the impression that Elsbeth (the show) is more of a comedy while The Good Wife is more drama; is that so?

I have not watched the other 2 but I do like this one.

I ended up looking up the first episode of the Good Wife that Elsbeth appears in just to see if maybe I could get into the show and, well... the plot seems intriguing but the main family (aside from the titular wife) are morons. So any scene w/ the husband or kids is borderline unwatchable.
