だから私は今、正式にこのアニメに夢中です 😆 唐代の中国をベースとした架空の国を舞台にしたミステリー/ロマンティックコメディ/ドラマのようなものです。

誘拐され、皇帝の宮廷に売られた薬師の猫猫（マオマオ）を描いた物語。目立たないように目立たないようにしたいと思いながらも、皇帝の跡継ぎが幼くして亡くなるという謎を解かずにはいられず、当然ながら彼女は一躍注目を集めることになる（笑）。彼女は権力を持つ宦官、壬氏（ジンシ）の保護下に置かれ、非公式の探偵として謎を解くことになる。

登場人物たちの関係性や駆け引きがとても面白く、政治的な陰謀が謎をさらに複雑にしています。特に妾の玉瑶が好きです。彼女は陰謀を企むことなく、非常に現実的で洞察力に優れています。

『エルズベス』や『特命係ウー』が好きなら、この作品も気に入るでしょう。

For ones that have a similar sort of vibe as this one, I'd say: - Utawarerumono (Guy with amnesia befriends small-town folks and decides to help them deal w/oppressive govt.) - Summer Time Rendering (Kid with strange time-loop powers solves the mystery of his adopted sister's death) - Aeon Flux (isn't anime, but its animated. Terrorist main character sabotages the bizarre and nefarious efforts of her politician ex.)

No problem! Tbh I don't read as much manga as I would like, so I don't really have a place I go to for scanlations regularly. If I decide I want to read a manga I just Google something like "read [manga title] online free".
