Squats are my favorite beginner exercise. They are easy to do and require no equipment. And when done right they can pack a heck of stretch in your quads and your glutes. Just make sure that your feet are under your shoulders and that when you squat you keep your back straight. I try to do 50 squats a day but Spread them out. I tend to do every time I go to the bathroom.
