    I haven't done the research but I have heard multiple people I know (who have done intermittent fasting) say that it's rough startinf but they soon feel like they have a clearer mind, thinking, and overall mood.

    The shorter periods of fasting are unlikely to have much effect in this way. The longer the fast, the more likely someone will struggle with it.
