산책 중에 이런 나무들을 처음 봤을 때, 대체 왜 있는 걸까 하는 생각이 들었습니다. 나무는 분명히 죽어 있는데, 아직 나무를 치우지 않은 것 같았습니다. 그런데 누군가 야생 동물을 위해 남겨둔다고 하더군요. 특히 딱따구리는 이 나무에 사는 곤충을 찾아다니니까요.

Good morning yes dead trees are important to many birds. We have porcupines that strip the bark off of trees, causing them to eventually die. I guess it's part of nature's plan. Enjoy your day.
