Ebbor Gorge

Situated near Cheddar Gorge in Somerset, Ebbor Gorge is possibly my most favourite place on earth.

 

It doesn't get the tourist travel like Cheddar does and has no shops to entice you in.

 

What it does have is a short hike up the gorge to a cliff top where you can sit and look and think. Most often you will have the clifftop to yourself as few people want to do the walk to get there.

 

It was always my place to go when I needed to put my world back into perspective.
