How cool that you've spotted a praying mantis! It's true that sightings of these fascinating creatures seem to be less common nowadays. I can relate to the nostalgia you feel from finding them frequently as a child – those were definitely delightful times.

I agree! I wondered if they are still as common as they were but I'm just not as observant? I think that you're right though! I think they're less common than they once were.
