Supposedly, as a comment by an admin in one posting thread mind you instead of putting it in the notices, they were working on a few issues that were coming up as well as new challenges. 

So, admins: update on what's going on (issues with rewards, counters as well as start of current and new challenges) and place in notifications instead of a comment thread so everyone sees it.
