That's because of the diet. The oldest cat ever recorded drank wine every day and had a whole garage for itself. I think it was a wine without alcohol but it was not disclosed on the documents. It lived around 40 years

How old is your baby? Also food makes a huge difference. Don't get anything with by products. My baby loved to be 18. Good food is more expensive but 30 bucks a bag for a month to have a healthy and happy cat is nothing. I used Abound with brown rice and vegetables. Even at 18 with arthritis she still had energy. But older cats sleep more as well. I hope this helps.

I am a vet assistant in training and I agree with this statement @smedina76 by products are just left over parts of animals that can't be eaten like if it's chicken the beak the feet the bones the waste or with cow it's the horns hoofs waste and all stuff you don't want your animals to be eating and most companies use them for fillers but really shouldn't be
