Gourmet Herb and Cheese Infused Beef Burgers

Ingredients:

 

1 large egg

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1-1/2 pounds ground beef

2 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon minced fresh chives

1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon milk

4 hamburger buns, split

4 slices tomato

4 lettuce leaves

Directions:

 

In a large bowl, combine the egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into eight thin patties.

In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese, chives, parsley, Parmesan cheese, and milk. Spoon onto the center of four patties. Top with remaining patties; press edges firmly to seal.

Grill burgers, covered, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until a thermometer reads 160° and juices run clear.

Serve on buns with tomato and lettuce.
