Yeah, that seems to be the trend, along with repeating the same ads at least 3 times or that they seem to freeze for a couple of second (even when you have great connections) a few times before the ad finishes.
어떤 게임은 광고가 거의 없어요. 어떤 게임은 그냥 로딩만 되더라고요. 광고 없이 즐기려면 돈을 많이 내야 해요. 이제 거의 재미가 없어요. 광고가 늘어난 걸 눈치채셨나요? 이제는 너무 많아요.

They need to make money somehow if people dont pay for them - the cost of free

It sucks but it has to be that way because developers aren't getting paid enough.
