Better watch out, they might eat your ducks. They're using their primal instincts to stock their prey.
이 작고 회색 길고양이와 (사진에는 없지만) 딸기색 금발 형제는 아침마다 제 마당에서 시간을 보내는 걸 좋아해요. 처음에는 제 고양이 오니를 기다리는 줄 알았어요. 오니가 가끔 아침에 같이 놀러 나가서 같이 놀아주거든요. 그런데 알고 보니 오니는 주로 울타리가 쳐진 헛간 근처에서 놀고 있었어요. 헛간은 제 오리들이 낮 동안 풀을 뜯는 곳이죠. 오늘은 마치 제가 헛간에서 오리들을 풀어주기만 기다리고 있는 것 같았어요. 하지만 제가 착한 고양이라고 칭찬하기 시작하자 오니는 떠나버렸어요. 😆

Yeah! I really think both the cats and the ducks get some enrichment from seeing each other ❤

What a cutie! 🥰 I sure hope they leave your ducks alone though! My cat has injured/killed so fairly large birds over the years!

I'm not particularly concerned. My ducks are the "Jumbo Pekin" breed and they're as big as Canada geese. They're pretty aggressive, too, though ultimately harmless. I ocassionally let my cats into the barnyard and they're afraid of the ducks 🤣
