Points

My points requirement for a £5 voucher just changed from 3,750 to 6,250.  This is quite steep. Anyone else experienced this? Would love some explanation as to how the points work.  The longer you've been using the app do you get a higher point requirement as they want new people to see the ads? Any insights much appreciated!
