School term holiday fines.

Who agrees/disagrees with the schools fining parents if they take kids out for holidays in termtine?...taking in consideration that family  holidays can be up to 3x the amount in school holiday times.

I totally don't agree as I know how hard it is to save so much more, or kids never go away...surely there has got to be a compromise like they take set work with them, or agree to catch up by doing extra at home when back....🤔🤔
