Let's be honest; I'm old and overweight. But, I'm still trying to get a routine going for going on a run.
Almost always in the morning, mostly for 5k or less. Never every day, because that's a bit much... I usually give myself an hour to run, recover and shower.
Running a trail, for me, is more like a fast walk compared to running on the sidewalk.
