My tips for beginners to use bench press and get more benefits:
- Keep your feet flat to provide stability.
- keep your elbows at 45 degree to reduce strain on shoulder
- Lower the bar slowly and while going upwards keep your body stretched and tight
- Inhale before lowering the bar
- Exhale when you push the bar back up
- Always perform warmup to prepare muscles
