I don't know, I didn't watch the new Doctor yet, but I'm watching Jodie and I'm enjoying it, like the other doctors
Russell is back to writing (and nope, I'm so far behind I shouldn't be writing this) lol That said, I figured it out. I figured out why Jodie and the new guy just seem like they're doing their best. They're not bad (the writing maybe). But it hit me, it seems to be a serious lack of art direction or production. Less lighting, less orchestral, etc..
Honestly, I loved the ideas and approach with them both but they did feel lacking and not for the acting. Does that make sense? On the simplest level.

Yes, I also thought she reminds me of him, it's the way she acts, sometimes she makes faces and grimaces identical to David, even how she moves in the room

She did; the new guy does as well. He has serious moments but I feel like they ripped him off. He has the ability.
