Pre-workout snack

I've never tried pre-workout supplement nore drink. But I heard eating before workout improves performance and lessens muscle damege. Especially if you take carbohydrate with protein. I like to eat oatmeal, protein powder, greek yogurt and fruits before going to the gym. Hope it's helping.Pre-workout snackPre-workout snack

    I have heard that food is better than shakes and energy drinks

    I have a snack or small meal, and caffeine. I feel stronger with some calories in me and caffeine gives me energy. I haven't noticed much difference with different macros though, as long as it's not super unbalanced.
