I can get 200 coins for 20,000 steps. It used to be 100 for 10,000 however I've had the app for over a year . I've heard some brand new users get the 200 coin thing and others get 100. I'm not sure why

For walking I only get 100 for 10,000 steps then a few extra coins for odd add ons. You need to play around with it if you're trying to max your coins.
