13-funny how you get used to something and don't notice til it's gone
My city, which I'd small, and the next town over have a siren system they sound every Friday at noon for fallen veterans. I hadn't heard it in awhile, maybe because I've tuned it out, Cmconcentrating on other things or maybe they hadn't actually played it. Today they did and with all the crazy shit going on in the country, I'm glad they did as it's the one thing that still unites us.
