When you have nothing you want to read yet....

I have well over 100 books, not including duplicates, between my bookshelf and my amazon kindle (most of them are on my kindle) yet I can't find anything I want to read. I think I need to visit the used bookstore close by after I build up some funds again. I am waiting on another book to come out translated into English but that will be out in another month. What are some of your favorite books? And I would like to see your bookshelves. When you have nothing you want to read yet....

I have 14 bibles on my top shelf including duplicates. I have the Kindle version of two of the study bibles and I have maybe 6 more on my kindle of ones I don't have on my shelf. The second/middle shelf has poetry, yearbooks, and a book about art laying horizontally, standing up on that shelf are movies and a Bible dictionary by zondarvan which created the NIV Bible or now owns the rights. Bottom is rather desolate with my normal books and one manga and a game guide or two....

I used to have many more physical YA books but got rid of them sadly. I had no room for anything else and I hadn't read them in years.

Other than the books in my kindle, my bookshelves are full of children's books for my grandkids.

That's adorable. I want a taller bookshelf but may have to opt for closet shelves if I get any more books

I have scaled back my books. I find I can get enough to read this items I can borrow from my local library or online

I love my Amplified Bible!   I just finished the first 2 books of the Anne of Green Gables series, but I was getting tired of the same author.  I am currently reading Tessa Afshar.  Check her books out if you haven't read them.  We have all of her books - they are so good!!

There is an app called First Five Proverbs 31. It has some interesting studies to chose from that lasts a couple weeks if you do just a chapter a day in it. I'm fighting the urge to do multiple a day. The studies are called Plans

What is? The bible? I am working on Leviticus in the old testament and Luke in the New Testament. I just finished the book of Acts, I skipped ahead to get a bit of background on Paul's letters. We are working on the book of John in our Bible study on Tuesdays.
