I sometimes have to restart my phone for it to correct. You've probably already tried that
I've walked 36,547 steps today alone, but this dumb app only has me at 30,549. That's 5999 short. This is a huge discrepancy, and I'm really not okay with it. I know a lot of other people are having the same issue that I do, but there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. There's no option to sync the app with my health app, which actually tracks my steps accurately and it apparently only works with one specific brand of watch, which I don't have and don't plan to get.
I shouldn't need to purchase a new phone and watch to ensure my steps are actually being tracked properly. If this doesn't get fixed, I'm just going to uninstall this garbage app. I get plenty of steps daily (usually more than 10,000) so I'm only here for the rewards. If that's not going to happen correctly, I'm done.

Well if you had 36,000 and only 30,000 calculated you can only get coins up to 20,000 steps anyways. Which is 200 coins. (That is if you have an android. I believe iPhones only give coins up to 10,000)
Phoenix AckermanI think you missed the point of the post. The point was that this app doesn't count steps accurately and therefore doesn't reward accurately. If you're going to add that there's a limit, then what you're saying is another strike against the app: they're also purposefully lying to get more people to use the app? See how that doesn't help your case at all?

If you are using a watch to track could it be that the watch is tracking your hand movements and not actual steps?

Doubtful. My watch and phone are extremely accurate. I can count out 100 steps and my watch and phone will match exactly.
