    Personally, I think it may harm a person's mental health. Just due to the restrictions and possible guilt over not sticking to the diet. Exercise is great for mental health though, for sure!!

    I admit, I didn't know about the Keto Diet until today. However, exercise and adding healthy habits always has the potential to improve mental health.

    There isn't enough research been conducted yet to conclude either way.When on the keto fiet your body turns fat in the liver into ketosis to provide energy to the brain.Although one study found keto diet to help with alzheimers overall mental health improvement hasn't been studied enough.Some people report 'keto flu' whereby the diet can cause brain fog and poor mental focus.If you have mental health concerns I'd personally avoid keto and just watch calories intake and do more general exercise which helps improve my mental health massively.

    It might make you feel better about yourself health wise, but you'll still be missing out on foods you normally would be able to eat due to diet restrictions. It's up to you imo

    However, we should also consider the stress the diet causes people since they're very limited on carbs & carbs are well known to uplift moods.
    Many talk about how they get cranky without carbs but once they eat carbs, their moods go up & they're satiated & happy.
