(M5P1) Nope, can't do the 10K or Home Workout challenges.

I cannot. Can you?

(Please do not prematurely react and comment; read to the end.)

If you are a busy working adult with a family, I am sure you are with me.

Life keeps me bouncing around, tackling work, home, family, friends, hobbies, emergencies, education, health, and, well, life.

Who has 2-6 hours a week, fitting in 10K walk plus uninterrupted workout time? 1-2 hours a day is precious. 6 hours a week is an unimaginable chunk of time. I could get so many more things done if I had that time.

But it does not mean I stay sedentary. I just need to be creative.

One of the first things I did was ditching floor cleaning robot. It took up space, looked ugly in the corner of the house, and required more time and headache when it broke down. Now, I hand-clean the floor. With proper forms and intensity, I find my arms and legs burning by the time I am done with floor cleaning. It is a 30-minute intense workout while TV or music is on.

Another thing I did was setting up the home office on the lowest floor so that I would have to go up to the upper floors for water, bathroom break, snacks and meals, and anything that I needed to do. As a result, I am up and down the floors at least 20 to 30 times throughout the day.

If you are like me, what creative step are you taking to squeeze activities into your busy, daily life?
