As a woman trying not to get too bulky in the upper body I focus on bodyweight and compound exercises. I do a full body routine 3x a week so superset with legs each day my arm routine looks like:
Tues (squat day): 3 sets pushups
2 sets military press
Thursday(deadlift day)/: 2 sets inverted row
2 sets DB row
Saturday: 2 sets bench press, 2 sets dips, 2 sets military press
Works pretty well for me! I'd like to add in pull ups on deadlift day, but so far been too lazy ๐
