I always start with a 10kg weight on my right hand, going with the arm straight in front. Then I would go lighter with 8 kg on my left, because I find it better to have an uneven balence for the first half of my arms workout and then switch balence on the second half. I would also advise giving your arms a day to work on their own, since it works for me. Hope these tips help you!
