Get maximum out of your Treadmill workout!

I tried the elliptical machine for months before switching to the treadmill and what a game changer that was! I find if you enter fatburn mode you burn the most calories and it's an efficient use of your gym time, with many of us busy and struggling to put the hours in! The beauty of fat burn mode is it auto changes incline so you are constantly working and adapting and burning those all important calories.I find speed 4.9km the maximum speed I can walk at, before increasing speed to jog/run.Most important of all DON'T WORRY if you cannot run for the full time or struggle to run when the incline changes to high!!! Walking is fine too.I'm currently running and walking about half the time in a 30 minute workout.I normally cover 4km or slightly more and anywhere from 400 - 420 calories depending on if I run more than walking.I was only burning 290 calories in the same time on the elliptical so the difference is huge... 550 extra calories weekly which all add up on my fitness and weight loss journey!       Thanks Janet! Yeah I'm always looking at ways to maximise my efficiency for the quickest results as I get impatient if I hit a plateau for a week or two, it can be demotivating when it happens.Just got to keep pushing and you'll start losing again soon enough!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช
