I ran home from my physiotherapy skinny a few days ago, so that was new. Some of it was in a busy area, which is less than ideal, but it was different from my usual routes (so in balance it was good).
I've found that I need to make my running a bit more interesting.
I get bored if the route is just flat, so I try to include some uphill and downhill bits.
I also like to try new routes occasionally to switch things up a bit.
