counter stuck at 20k

has anyone had this problem? for a couple days now, it hasn't reset my step counter overnight, saying I've got 20k steps right off the bat. it's not counting *any* steps after that, so I haven't been getting any coins. tried clearing the app's cache, then uninstall/reinstall and still it's wacked.
