Open box / watch ads for coins

Something has changed. For about the past week all I get is 1 coin for watching ads. Total waste of time. I cannot believe that this is random. How is it possible to get 1 coin every time? I have watched at least 20 ads, each worth 1 coin. Really disappointed ;(
