What is high blood pressure?

When we go to the doctors and they tell us oh you have high blood pressure. Does anyone of of us actually know what it means? Does the doctor explained to us what that number is?

2. What can we do to helps reduce our blood pressure?
3. Can a diet helps reduce our blood pressure?
