I think most of your comments are counted. I don't think they count the one which are for other challenges (like ask cashwalk), or the "I'm in" comments you make to join a challenge.

Comments for other challenges like skygazing and 10,000 steps aren't counted in mingle. Nor is 'I'm in,' as it's just a marker that you're participating.

Oh, I know that struggle. A few days before the start of the next session, I have all sorts of ideas but one it starts, all of them have disappeared. Sometimes I get stuck in the commenting count as well. Right now, I only have 5 post and 43 comments. It's still early in this session tho.

Yeah, I think that might be why the sessions are getting closer together, or it seems that way. One end and another starts a day or to later. At least the last few anyways.
