Since junior high my biggest pet peeves are slow walkers and people who stand in doorways. I just realized it's actually lack of appreciation for surroundings

Some are slow because of disabilities or illness. I have grace for them.

This was the case andnI do have grace, but it is rude to take up two walking spaces. A disability does not prevent you from walking to one side or the other. When I say extremely slow I'm talking over three minutes to get from interior doors to exterior doors a few feet away.

There's a number of reasons sone people are slow or suddenly slow to a near stop. Could be disability, some cognitive issues (like you go to do or say something or lost train of thought, and for a moment, your mind goes blank). But for some, that 'brain fart' last more than a few minutes. Also, it could be early signs of medical concerns. Minor strokes don't always present themselves with facial or limp arm signs. We can all slow down a bit in our lives as nothing we have to do that can't wait or be pushed back a few minutes for the benefit of another persin.
