大多数阻力训练对我来说太枯燥乏味,毫无意义。花几个小时推拉重物却毫无成效,感觉既浪费又单调。但在科技让家务变得更容易之前,很多家务活都很辛苦。所以,我没有使用那些嘈杂、污染环境、汽油驱动的草坪设备,而是选择了“老派”方法。首先,我用我的美国割草机公司(American Lawnmower Company)的推式割草机修剪草坪,然后把修剪下来的草耙到人行道上,最后用推扫帚把修剪下来的草扫成一堆,扔进我的堆肥箱。总共需要几个小时,最后我不仅得到了全身的锻炼,而且还拥有了一片漂亮平整的草坪,这足以证明我付出的努力。从四月到十月,我每周都会这样做一次。

    49- that push mower is not for the faint of heart . I got 1 when I lived in a duplex ,small yard and landlord always waited for it to get ugly tall so I decided to do it with 1 of these and omg that was a sweat shop

      Oh yeah, the secret is frequency! If I make sure to do it weekly is really not so bad; it's still a workout but it goes pretty quick. But if I let it go three weeks then it's an absolute nightmare.

    Good for you!!! That would be great exercise! I enjoy some lawn work, but despise other lawn work.

      Yeah ideally I wouldn't be doing any "lawn" work; I prefer gardening & low-maintenance native landscaping. We're converting the lawn over bit by bit, but obviously I still gotta keeping it looking nice in the meantime 😅
