Movie I recently watched: Rogue One

Rogue One: a Star Wars Story  

Not recently watched for the first time, more like the 100th time. To me, this is the best Star Wars film. Yes, I was there in the beginning and saw Star Wars as a child and it will forever be in my top 10 but this film gave me a fresh more adult story to enjoy and that same excitement that the original gave us all. 

It's essentially a war film in the Star Wars universe instead of the usual approach of other films in the franchise just trying to spread the lore as thin as possible. Ironic that its origins are a few words in the opening crawl of a new hope, telling how the plans to the Death Star had been stolen by a band of rebel fighters. 

A Star Wars fan or no, this is a film for all. 

Have a watch, you won't be disappointed.
