My Bboy Midnight

This is my porch cat who's been in for nearly a year. He got hit, they think by a bike (or scooter) almost a year ago. He had a nasty cut and mangled foot. They were talking amputation. He had snapped tendons. They were barely able to stitch him shut after removing debris, fur, and dead tissue. It took over 6 weeks for the cut to close. I kept telling him just a little longer and he could go back out. Lies bc his leg atrophied. Permanent lies bc his foot was apparently also shattered and it didn't heal right. It's always difficult to explain the way his leg sits funny and kind of twisted, but I was able to catch it today. He still tries to get out and I feel bad he can never go running around here again! He had so much fun catching mice outside. He's also all fat now, he was about 8-8.5 lbs last summer and around 9-10 in winter. I have no clue now, just big ol belly bc he doesn't have to wait for me or hunt anymore, just get down and walk a few ft to his bowl!
